Bronze & Diamond Anniversary Pendant
£71.30
A solid bronze pendant is set with a single sparkling diamond and hung from a fine sterling silver chain, offering a slightly more luxurious option within our jewellery range. At around 2cm, it's substantial enough to feel special while remaining comfortable for regular wear. The diamond accent makes it a fitting choice for couples who want to mark their 8th wedding anniversary with something that feels like a genuine treat rather than a token gift. Bronze and diamond both need very little care — an occasional gentle polish with a soft cloth is enough.

Why Bronze?
Bronze is the traditional gift for the 8th wedding anniversary. An alloy of copper and tin, bronze represents the melding of two distinct lives into a stronger, more enduring union. Its warm, golden tone grows richer with time, much like a beautiful marriage.
About this piece
Diamond settings in bronze are unusual. Most diamond jewellery uses white gold, platinum, or silver as the carrier metal because cooler tones make a diamond's fire read more clearly. Bronze, with its warm golden undertone, creates a different effect: the diamond is framed against warmth rather than coolness, which gives the combination a richness that white-metal settings do not produce. It is a more specific aesthetic choice — not for everyone — but for the right person it is a more interesting piece of jewellery than the same diamond in silver would be. At 2cm the pendant is a considered but not extravagant size, suitable for regular wear. The care routine for both materials is the same: a soft polishing cloth applied gently to the bronze, and an occasional check that the diamond's collet setting remains secure.
