About this piece
A single strip of solid bronze is the starting point for this pendant, drawn and shaped at temperature until it forms a continuous twist rather than a flat face. The process is closer to forging than standard casting, which is why the finished piece has an organic, flowing form that a stamp or mould could not replicate. A small diamond is set at the midpoint of the twist, sitting in a fine collet where the two edges of the bronze meet. The result reads as abstract at first glance but rewards closer attention, making it a talking point in a way that more conventional pendants rarely manage. On a 45cm sterling silver chain it sits just below the collarbone — a versatile length for both open and higher necklines. Care is minimal: a light buff with a polishing cloth when you want it to shine at its clearest.
